SunShield Mineral Tallow Sunscreen is handcrafted in small batches using our signature multi-rendered beef tallow, soothing calendula-infused oil, nourishing jojoba oil, non-nano zinc oxide, beeswax, and fractionated coconut oil. This thoughtfully balanced formula blends traditional skincare with modern mineral sun protection.

Powered by non-nano zinc oxide, SunShield helps protect against UVA and UVB rays using a mineral UV filter that sits on the skin’s surface. Unlike many chemical sunscreens, which absorb UV energy and convert it into heat, non-nano zinc oxide helps form a protective barrier that scatters and reflects UV rays while also absorbing a portion of the UV energy. Because the zinc oxide particles are non-nano in size, they are designed to remain on the skin’s surface.

Calendula-infused oil, nutrient-rich tallow, and jojoba oil work together to nourish the skin and support its natural moisture barrier, while beeswax provides a smooth, long-lasting finish.
